We hold as little as the product needs, and nothing about your tenant.

What we hold, and why

• Your email address. To send the private link, the reminders before each date, and a resend of the link on request. Lawful basis: performance of the contract you paid for.
• The property address and region. Shown on your almanac and used to work out which rules apply. Contract.
• Your answers. Tenancy start, last rent increase, certificate dates, EPC rating, whether the tenant's right to rent is time-limited (a date only, no name), and an income band. These are the inputs to your dates. Contract.
• A record of each reminder sent, so nothing is sent twice, and a count of bounced emails so we stop after three. Legitimate interest in running the service.
• Your Lemon Squeezy order number. To match the payment to the almanac and handle refunds. Contract.
• An email address left in the notify box, before checkout exists. One email when it opens, then deleted or kept only if you buy. Consent.

We hold no tenant names, no documents, no bank details. Card details go to Lemon Squeezy, the merchant of record, and never reach us.

Where it lives

On Cloudflare's network, in a database in the European Union or United Kingdom region, and in Resend's systems for the emails they send on our behalf. Lemon Squeezy holds your payment record. Each is bound by a data processing agreement.

How long

For as long as your almanac exists: four years of dates from purchase, plus any rule updates. Ask and it is deleted within 30 days. Notify-box addresses that never buy are deleted 12 months after checkout opens.

Cookies and tracking

None. The site sets no cookies. Your browser stores your answers and ticks locally so you can come back to them; nothing in that storage is sent to us unless you pay. Analytics, when added, will be Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and no personal identifiers.

Your rights

Access, correction, deletion, and a copy of your data: email hello@letbell.com from the address you paid with. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Who we are

Letbell is operated by a sole trader in England. Full trading details and the ICO registration number will appear here before checkout opens.
